Your commands stay in your browser.

About ActionHelm
ActionHelm is a browser extension for running user-configured commands, opening links, switching between configured environments, and optionally displaying an environment ribbon or copying configured content.
Data handled locally
ActionHelm may process and store the following data on your device:
- Commands you create or import, including titles, descriptions, templates, actions, aliases, parameter defaults, and copy content.
- Environment configuration, including names, colors, icons, environment types, and URLs.
- Optional-feature settings and domains selected for the Environment ribbon.
- Local command-usage statistics and recent-command history: command identifier, base command pattern, execution date, and execution count. Values substituted for command parameters are not stored.
- URLs of currently open tabs, processed temporarily to identify an environment, switch an environment, target a command, or activate the optional ribbon. ActionHelm does not create or retain a browsing-history log.
- Text entered into command inputs. The side panel stores its most recent query locally to restore unfinished input and clears it after a command is executed. Other input values are processed temporarily.
This information is stored with the browser's local extension storage. ActionHelm does not use browser synchronization storage.
Website access
The optional Environment ribbon runs only when you enable the module, select one or more domains, and grant access to those domains. It reads the current page URL only to match it against environment URLs you configured. Removing a domain or disabling the module revokes that access.
Clipboard access
When Copy formatted content is enabled and you run a Copy command, ActionHelm writes the configured command content to the clipboard. It does not read existing clipboard contents.
External destinations
When you run a link or environment command, the browser navigates to a destination you configured. The destination website receives the resulting request normally. ActionHelm does not add tracking identifiers or send a separate copy of that request to the developer.
Sharing, sale, and advertising
ActionHelm does not sell, rent, share, or transfer user data to the developer, advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties. User data is not used for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or any purpose unrelated to the extension's user-facing features.
ActionHelm's use of information received from browser APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
Locally stored data remains until you edit or delete it, clear the extension's local storage, or uninstall the extension. Export occurs only when you explicitly copy or download an export file, and you control which commands and environments it includes.
Security
ActionHelm avoids external data transmission and requests optional permissions only when their corresponding feature is enabled. Because configuration may contain internal URLs or user-authored content, protect exported configuration files as you would any other local configuration file.
Changes to this policy
If ActionHelm's data practices change, this policy and the relevant store disclosures will be updated before the changed behavior is released. Material changes will be disclosed in the extension or its store listing when required.
